Secretariat for Chinese Affairs.

Press Censors. Three Chinese Officers are

employed by this department as censors of Chinese

revspapers, one veing an outside man and two having other employment under Government. We recommend that

the former's (Mr. Leung Hang-yun) salary be raised from

$100 to $120 per mensem and that the allowances to the

latter be raised as follows :-

Mr. Iau Shuk-chong from $75 to $90 per mensem.

Mr. Lam Pak-chung from $60 to $72 per men seu.

the wages of the office coolie employed in

this connection and paid from the Miscellaneous Services

vous should be raised to $17 per month to include rent

allowancs.
